Why This Site Exists

Munich-based scientist since 2007. Practical notes on travel, daily life, and crossing between cultures — starting with Bavaria, growing from here.

Why Munich Ajussi Exists

I am a natural science researcher based in Munich, where I have lived since 2007. My daily work is shaped by data, experiments, and protocols. But after nearly two decades here, I have learned a different kind of system: how Munich actually works for visitors.

Airport transfers, public transport, hotel locations, ticket rules, Sunday closures, day-trip timing, and last-minute route changes can feel surprisingly confusing when you have just arrived. Most travel guides give you a list of places. What they rarely give you is the judgment to make the right call for your situation.

That is what Munich Ajussi is for.

This is a practical local guide — not a fan page, not a sponsored blog. I write about Munich transport, accommodation, food, concerts, day trips, and the small mistakes that cost time, money, or energy. The goal is simple: help you arrive prepared, move without stress, and leave with good memories.

All guides are also available in Korean at munichajussi.tistory.com.

This site started with Munich. It will grow with wherever the questions take us — Germany, Korea, and the spaces in between.

Welcome to Munich. I hope these notes help you arrive with confidence.
